Still, some careers are extraordinary by any measure. Eric Roberts has surpassed 700 film and television appearances, while James Hong’s documented credits also reached around 700.
Eric Roberts Passed Seven Hundred Screen Projects
Eric Roberts told The Hollywood Reporter that he had essentially lost count of his work after more than 700 film and television appearances. PEOPLE reported that Roberts can receive between eight and 30 offers in a single day and works roughly 200 days a year. His willingness to accept studio films, independent productions, and unconventional roles has created a résumé almost impossible for mainstream Hollywood stars to match.
James Hong Built Seven Hundred Credits
James Hong had accumulated around 700 credits when he received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star. The Hollywood Chamber broke that total into 469 television shows, 149 feature films, 32 shorts and 22 video games. His career stretched from classic Hollywood through Blade Runner, Seinfeld, Kung Fu Panda and Everything Everywhere All at Once, making longevity and versatility equally important parts of the number.

Mickey Rooney’s career began in childhood during the silent era and continued almost until his death at 93. ABC News reported that he appeared in more than 300 films during a career spanning roughly nine decades. Rooney moved through the Andy Hardy pictures, musicals with Judy Garland, television, stage, and late films including Night at the Museum, making his career one of Hollywood’s longest as well as one of its busiest.
Christopher Lee Set a Screen-Credit Record
Christopher Lee’s extraordinary career once earned him a Guinness World Record. In 2007, Guinness recognized him for 244 film and television movies, part of an even broader screen résumé. His roles ranged from Hammer’s Dracula to James Bond villain Scaramanga, The Lord of the Rings’ Saruman and Star Wars’ Count Dooku. Remarkably, some of Lee’s biggest commercial movies arrived when he was already in his eighties.
Danny Trejo Passed Four Hundred Acting Credits
Danny Trejo had more than 400 IMDb credits by 2024 and described himself as someone willing to work across studio productions, independent movies and low-budget projects. He told The Talks that he treats each film with the same commitment regardless of its size. That attitude helps explain how a performer who entered acting relatively late became one of the most instantly recognizable and prolific character actors in modern Hollywood.
Michael Caine Made Over One Hundred Fifty Films
Michael Caine appeared in more than 150 feature films across a career that stretched from postwar British cinema to Christopher Nolan blockbusters.
