Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is celebrating her first connection to an Emmy-nominated program. Her Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, received a nomination for Outstanding Lifestyle Program at the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
The distinction is important: the nomination recognizes the program and its eligible production team rather than an acting performance by Meghan. Even so, it represents a significant milestone for a series built around her hosting, creative direction and post-royal lifestyle brand.
The Lifestyle Program Category

With Love, Meghan will compete against A Different Breed, George to the Rescue, The Motherhood and The Wizard of Paws. The category honors daytime programming focused on areas such as food, home life, animals, personal interests and practical living. The nomination places Meghan’s series within the Daytime Emmys, which are separate from the Primetime Emmy Awards.
Inside the Netflix Series

The program follows Meghan as she cooks, gardens, arranges flowers and shares entertaining ideas with friends and invited guests. It was filmed in the Montecito area rather than inside the Sussex family home. The series presents an intentionally polished version of relaxed California living, combining instructional segments with informal conversations and personal stories.
A Familiar Guest List

Guests across the series included Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, Tan France, chef Roy Choi and Jay Shetty. Prince Harry also made an appearance, giving viewers a limited glimpse of Meghan’s family life within the carefully controlled format. The guest list helped connect the series with entertainment, food, fashion and wellness audiences rather than restricting it to royal coverage.
Meghan Thanks Her Team

Meghan responded to the nomination by congratulating the people who worked on the program. Her reaction placed the focus on the production team rather than describing the honor as an individual victory. That framing was appropriate because series awards involve producers, craftspeople and other eligible contributors responsible for turning the host’s concept into a finished television program.
Two Seasons and a Special

With Love, Meghan premiered in March 2025 and continued for a second season later that year. Netflix also released a holiday special. There are currently no confirmed plans for a traditional third season, although a spokesperson has indicated that the format may continue through seasonal specials. The Emmy recognition therefore arrived during a period when the show’s future structure remained flexible.
A Return to Television

Before marrying Prince Harry, Meghan was best known for playing Rachel Zane on Suits. She stopped acting before becoming a working member of the British royal family. With Love, Meghan marked a different kind of television return, placing her onscreen as herself while linking the program with her interests in food, hosting and lifestyle products.
The Winner Comes Next

The Daytime Emmy ceremony is scheduled for October 30, 2026, at the Hollywood Palladium. A nomination does not guarantee that the series will win, but it provides industry recognition after the show received sharply divided reactions from critics and viewers. The accurate milestone is that Meghan’s program earned its first nomination, with the final result still to be decided.
