These roles used his physical authority in different ways, from Duncan Idaho’s disciplined loyalty to the theatrical villainy of Dante Reyes. Momoa also worked extensively on Hawaiian-language dialogue. The project gave him creative responsibility beyond acting and connected his career directly with his Native Hawaiian heritage.
